About the Role: The Payroll Project Analyst is a core component of our project team within EMEA Payroll department at Stanley's Global Shared Services Center in Warsaw. This person is responsible for performing analytical tasks, including: process reviews and comparisons aiming at cross-country standardization within payroll function, gathering, interpreting and testing payroll requirements when new legal entities are integrated and acquired, analysis in payroll process improvement projects. Job Responsibilities: Perform analysis of end-to-end payroll process across several EMEA countries, entities and businesses according to project needs. Support initiatives aiming to standardize how EMEA Payroll works across several countries. Support projects aiming to streamline the workflow with upstream and downstream teams, especially with HR offices across EMEA region and payroll vendors. Assist in projects aiming to review and assign tasks outside of payroll service delivery model to proper owners based on subject matter expertise and compliance criteria. Analyze, design, redesign and support implementing updates in payroll subprocesses across EMEA region, ensuring that such subprocesses are compliant and have proper controls in place. Assist in project to automate data workflow between HR, Payroll and vendors. Aid the implementation of case management tool. Assist in other regulatory and strategic projects. Support Europe Payroll Senior Manager and European Service Delivery Manager in other priority project tasks. Support Country Payroll Managers in their process improvement initiatives. Support Payroll Project Manager in regular project tasks. Requirements/Competencies: Working knowledge of key payroll areas and systems, ideally obtained in payroll department in an international organization (e.g. pre-payroll, post-payroll, controls and reconciliations, tax year end). Direct experience in standardization, process improvement and automation projects highly appreciated but not a must. Working knowledge of key business analysis areas (e.g. business analysis planning and monitoring, requirements lifecycle, requirements analysis and design definition, solution evaluation). Working knowledge of key lean six sigma concepts (e.g. current state assessment, target state design, process mapping, SIPOC). Awareness of key project management concepts (e.g. business case, project planning, setting up governance structure, regular reporting, tollgates and milestones, issue management). Ability to work with multiple international stakeholders internally and with external vendors. Ability to challenge current setup and suggest process improvements. Strong verbal and writing communication skills required. Self-starter, with minimal direct supervision is preferred.
