Day to Day Responsibilities: Category strategy process: Support the category strategy creation process according to the LACE (Lead, Assist, Consul, Educate) model Quickly develop or facilitate internal knowledge for supply market Lead the development of add-ons to the category framework linked to the other COE services (i.e. Collaboration Hosting, Trading, etc.) Help in finding appropriate ways to present complex concepts for executive communications Strategic Sourcing process: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to develop strategic sourcing strategies in support of business goals Support the category team with TCO, product tear-down, should cost model, etc. analysis Drive adoption and trains the function on the Strategic Sourcing process Supplier relationship management and risk management process: Collaborate with business stakeholders to achieve targets, improve supplier performance, maximize supplier collaboration and innovation Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) process management (segmentation, support to Supplier Performance Management) and Risk Management reporting Drive adoption and train the function on the SRM methodology Project Management: Support the category management governance PMO activities and reporting Facilitate and organize category workshops, meetings, councils, including participation and documentation; Liaise with GSM services, market intelligence, Value Optimization, as requested; Expand the COE IT tools capabilities, Share Points and shared-drives Required Skills: Proficient in developing procurement category strategies Advance knowledge of Procurement processes and methodologies, in particular: Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management methodologies Project management Excellent working abilities with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as comfortable learning additional computer applications Experienced in working in a multi-stakeholder environment Desired Skills: Training and coaching experience Knowledge and understanding of Change Management principles and methodologies Consultancy experience Knowledge and understanding of Six Sigma and Lean principles (Performance Excellence methodologies) Soft Skills: Effective presentation and communication skill Refined influencing skills Ability to engage internal and external stakeholders effectively, facilitate discussions, influence effectively and develop relationships; Ability to drive efforts and projects through relationships and a broad knowledge base Team worker used to deal with different cultures Self-motivated, proactive and responsive, highly organized, results-oriented and attentive to detail
