The Corporate Finance CEE team is based in Warsaw and London and is responsible for originating and executing transactions across the region and various sectors. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Working as an intern, your role will include: Supporting marketing activities of senior team members (i.e. support drafting of pitch books, market research, company profiles etc.) Advanced financial modelling (DCF, multiples based valuation, LBOs etc.) Assisting in conducting M&A market research and analysis Being responsible for transaction support in execution (e.g. managing / maintaining virtual data rooms, investors Q&A, support drafting transaction materials - IMs, management presentations, valuation reports etc.) Performing due diligence, analysing companies ROLE COMPETENCIES Highly motivated and able to deliver top level performance under pressure /tight deadlines and challenging working environment with demanding clients Absolute determination to learn and improve performance High personal standards and strong team player Good personal organisation skills (work efficiency, management of priorities and autonomy) Excellent presentation, communication and written skills Analytical thinking and strong attention to detail TECHNICAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE Strong academic record, ideally in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Financial Analysis, Valuation or Corporate Strategy Previous internship experience in M&A / ECM High level of technical skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint Strong modelling and quantitative skills Fluency in written and spoken English Fluent in Polish (it is a must) – any other CEE language would be very advantageous CONDUCT Be a role model, supporting and fostering a culture of good conduct Demonstrate proactivity, transparency, and accountability for identifying and managing conduct risks Consider the implications of your actions on colleagues Location: Warsaw Duration: 6 Months Start Date: February 2019
