We are looking for our location in Warsaw for a Manager Corporate Communication (m/f/d) - East Europe Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: The adidas Corporate Communication team enhances the company’s reputation and positively impacts its employees’ engagement by developing impactful storylines and communicating them to internal audiences. The objective of the European Corporate Communication Team is to translate the company’s strategy into key messages and to drive a consistent and aligned communication across all clusters and the European HQ. Key Responsibilities: Enhance the company’s reputation amongst employees (bestplacetowork) Ensure message consistency and message penetration across Europe with a focus on East Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Baltics) Land global key messages and key activations as well as European specific activations consistently across the different teams in region East Europe Establish solid relations with the Senior Leadership Team & GM in East Europe Deliver impactful content for internal key audiences based on global strategy and key messages on all internal channels, including a-Live Create understanding and engagement for the company strategy for assigned area of responsibility Execute impactful communication concepts to support change management processes Create and execute new and improved communication methods and tools for entire concepts, stories and messaging for key events/activations and campaigns Be the point person for any CSR and Sustainability related task for East Europe. Consult and lead the locally based activation team. Ensure smooth operation of the business by taking ownership for regional/local (approx. 70%) and Europe related (approx. 30%) communication needs Create an environment which brings the teams to executional excellence Budget responsibility for assigned area of responsibility Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: University degree in business studies/marketing/communication or related field Strong competence in communication and business topics 3-8 years working experience in a Corporate Communication department of a blue-chip, Corporate PR agency or as a business reporter Ability to think and act strategically Comprehensive business understanding of topics, processes and structures Strong communication skills to negotiate with internal and/or external partners with possible divergent interests and with different business areas High degree of stakeholder orientation and appropriate prioritization Ability to maneuver in a consistently changing environment Ability to operate cross-functionally and understanding of external business drivers Excellent communication expertise, both written and verbal (quality, consistency and accuracy) Thorough understanding of internal social media channels (a-live, Yammer, etc.) Business fluency in English (written and spoken) Excellent writing, organizational and event planning skills
