Will co-pilot the execution of our adidas strategy and will secure the delivery of sustainable top-line growth across all East geographies. business governor for all respective legal entities and official external company representative with accountability for statutory accounts and taxation continuously identify and recommend all necessary actions to both steer and secure delivery of annual and mid-term business objectives drive proactive and cross-functional activities to maximize commercial profitability, realize cost efficiencies, and to mitigate enterprise risk KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Partner Role Drive value creation through helping the business make better operational and strategic decisions Lead monthly/quarterly/yearly planning processes (IBP, Budget, Forecast, SBP etc) Provide a critical view on all the business drivers, contributing to the achievement of targets and the continuous improvement of the financial performance and P&L Provide ongoing input from a financial perspective to improve business decision-making, e.g. trade terms, accounts receivable aging, inventory levels, clearance and phase-out evaluation Establish processes to closely manage key financial parameters of sales, including returns, inventory turns, DSO and cash flow to achieve annual targets Proactively manage and drive transparency of developments within the balance sheet as well as P&L on a monthly to maximize the return for our company Proactively identify, evaluate and drive opportunities to improve efficiency and performance of the local organisation while also showcasing the ability to think “Europe first” Internal Controls, Accounting & Policies Ensure consumer embedded within decision making frameworks In cooperation with Europe Internal Controls Team, maintain strong and balanced internal control framework within Marketplace while upholding compliance with company policies With support of relevant service providers, ensure provision of regulatory financial information and governance of all legal entities to the respective tax and financial institutions Will serve as the key interface for external and internal audit with primary responsibility for adherence to policy and legal regulations. Identify and recommend opportunities for creating or enhancing business processes or procedures to improve consumer/customer experience, business potential, control and/or efficiency Credit Management Drive integrated credit strategy and delivery of working capital KPIs Lead strategic customer negotiations regarding material payment and risk management matters Facilities & Services Ensure optimal and efficient operations and management of the company buildings, facilities and installations as well as optimal and efficient provision of general services supporting employees. People Management Advance our Company culture through consistent role modelling of the adidas 3Cs (Confidence, Collaboration, Creativity) and through our Leadership Framework Lead and re-organize East Finance organizational structure in close collaboration with ONE ADIDAS principles Proactively secure/co-ordinate needed collaboration and service levels from various internal providers covering other centralized Finance areas (e.g. General FP&A, Demand Planning, Internal Controls, Non-Trade Procurement) Set objectives in alignment with Finance priorities, manage workload and results to achieve business objectives while adopting best practices and achieving continuous cross-functional process improvement.
