Primary accountabilities: In this role you will lead and execute warehouse optimization projects, deploying Global productivity initiatives across a range of countries in Europe. It is therefore a location-free role which can be operated from any PepsiCo location in Europe. Analyze operational data and apply the tools to recommend solutions that drive efficiency, considering a very broad landscape of warehouse operations; Align the projects viability and benefits with different stakeholders, including senior level leadership; Support on site implementation, reporting results and assuring the accomplishment of the financial benefits; You are also going to be responsible to develop the standards of these new softwares/ solutions/ processes initiatives. The major two tools to be deployed would be: Operations simulation: Use simulation software to understand the current capacity of the sites; Investigate bottlenecks and make recommendations to deliver efficiency, at the same time complying with service level requirements; Warehouse slotting: Data analysis, warehouse layout design and optimization scenarios, to recommend best solution; Align the implementation process with key stakeholders and support implementation; Other projects/initiatives Enhance field ready training programs (Best Practice Tools) and lead the deployment of these BPTs in all PEP markets. Support the financial viability analysis of the new tools and process to understand if there is an opportunity before the pilot phase. You will interact with Global Team and tool suppliers on recommending new features that would support PepsiCo needs. Qualifications/Requirements Your profile Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other operations related fields; 4-6 years of Engineering and/or Warehousing experience preferably in consumer products; Flexible working style can easily work with individuals from all backgrounds and cultures. Multilingual a plus but not a necessity; Experience in supply chain operations; Ability to manage a highly dynamic workload; High degree of independence, autonomy, drive and results orientation; Ability to travel within sector (up to 50% travel); Data analysis – expertise in basic statistics and ideally knowledge of related softwares as R or Minitab Lean six sigma certification is a plus.
